Scott Berry oversees the flight test and certification of a revolutionary new aircraft being developed by Joby Aviation to radically improve how people commute in densely populated areas. Scott joined Joby in 2015 and brings a wide range of knowledge in the development of advanced composite structures and fly-by-wire aircraft. Prior to joining Joby, he spent 12 years in the Mojave desert at the General Atomics R&D center where he oversaw the project engineering and design engineering groups developing and flight testing large unmanned aircraft. Scott has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cal Poly and is an active instrument and commercial rated pilot in both rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft.
